Pinch/pull to zoom in and make those marks bigger, and erasing should be easier. You might use beat marks in the future - to manage those, simply tap and hold to apply them where you need them, and then tap and hold and move the magnifying lens over existing ones, and when the X appears, release to get rid of them. I usually go with yellow (as do most actors I know - no reason, just personal preference), so that's the default. But you can pick whatever color you want. We are looking at different options for the highlighter choices, but I just whizz through the script to get where I need to be (I'm shooting a 120 page feature now, and getting to those final scenes...) and when I get where I need to be, I slow down and correct the placement. You can do that with any of the highlighters. I will tell you we're looking at a "go to page number ###" option as well. So, we have some things in the pipeline that will be helpful. I know I could use a two finger scroll to lock it to the vertical only but who wants to do that all the time? So my suggestion is to place a 'scroll lock' button on the toolbar to tap once you've got your script to the right magnification. Then you could scroll with much greater ease (my As You Like It is cut down but it still takes a while to scroll from start to end). You could make room for this button (and others) by combining the highlighters into one option : you know the '.com' button for when you're entering a web address in safari? Know when you tap and hold it gives you other domain options? So your new highlight button : tap to select the current colour highlighter, tap and hold to activate the pop-up and choose a different colour which is then the active highlighter.
