I’d like to be able to put a script into Rehearsal without going through your website. Have you considered adding that feature or is it already possible? I’m afraid you’ll go out of business and I’ll never be able to add any more scripts to the application. Thanks.

PDF, DOC and DOCX (both Word formats) – we contacted Final Draft over 8 months ago to get the file format spec from them specifically so we could offer FD file formats, but they have yet to get back to us. A call to their offices yielded a curt reply from the Sales Manager’s assistant that they will get back to us if they are interested in working with us, otherwise, like an audition, “you won’t hear from us.” I was done working with Final Draft at that very moment. If you have FD, it exports to PDF nicely. That’s the best we can do.

Hey, guys, loving the multiple-document support for word files. I use that when doing sketch shows at ACME. A recent email from the head writer of my web series “Robot, Ninja & Gay Guy” got me thinking, though. Does Rehearsal support Final Draft documents? I currently can’t open them on my iPhone, and it’d be amazing to be able to forward them to my rehearsal app. I need to get those scripts from my writers in fdr format, and though I tell them to send PDF as well, they don’t seem up to the challenge. .

What are all the formats that you support?

I mail the PDF to “script+…” but get back, “The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1, Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table (state 14).”

Can you help?

So how do you get a script in PDF format? I work with small theater companies in the midwest and would love to use the app, but we always get hard copies of our scripts.
